Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Itzpapalotltotec (ranked 1113 p4p, 1470 weight class) and Repus Revorg (ranked 151 p4p, 207 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Itzpapalotltotec might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Copacabana - Barry Manilow. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Revorg does it's job there.
Revorg lands with a good body shot.
Revorg takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Revorg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Itzpapalotltotec.
Revorg ducks under a wild hook from Itzpapalotltotec.
Revorg thinks about the counter body kick.
Revorg connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Itzpapalotltotec swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Itzpapalotltotec bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Itzpapalotltotec was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Revorg fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Itzpapalotltotec on the side of the head.

Revorg throws a front kick aimed at Itzpapalotltotec's knee but Itzpapalotltotec avoids it well.

I was talking to Itzpapalotltotec's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Revorg throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Itzpapalotltotec prevents a body shot from Revorg.
Itzpapalotltotec swings wildly with an uppercut but Revorg uses good head movement to avoid it.
Revorg gets through Itzpapalotltotec's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Revorg pulls guard effortlessly.
Revorg wants to sweep here but Itzpapalotltotec controlling him for the moment.

Itzpapalotltotec drops back, looking for a kneebar! Revorg looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Revorg looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Revorg!

Revorg grinds an elbow into Itzpapalotltotec's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Revorg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Itzpapalotltotec swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Revorg is posturing up here but Itzpapalotltotec has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Revorg tries to roll out but it's too tight and Revorg has to tap! Slick submission there by Itzpapalotltotec!
