PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Devils Outlaw (ranked 543 p4p, 913 weight class) and Spinning Fire (ranked 73 p4p, 120 weight class). Outlaw's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Moonshine Bandits For The Outlawz. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Devils Outlaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spinning Fire!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Outlaw throws a leg kick

and Fire counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Outlaw!
Fire with the ground and pound but Outlaw regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Fire throwing shots but Outlaw is blocking nicely.
Fire sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Outlaw defending well though.
Fire throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Fire missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fire lands a nice short elbow.
Outlaw might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fire thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fire distracts Outlaw with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Outlaw is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fire is controlling him.
Fire missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Fire postures up in Outlaw's guard and throws a big left but Outlaw blocks it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Outlaw jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fire with the counter takedown but Outlaw avoids it easily.

and Fire counters with a single leg into guard. Outlaw didn't expect that.
Fire throws a big elbow that misses.
Fire stands up over Outlaw, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Fire with a flurry of punches that miss.
Outlaw keeping moving, preventing Fire from controlling successfully.
Fire lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Outlaw is rocked!
Outlaw can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fire controls the pace.
Oh Outlaw is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fire in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fire trying to control the position from guard on top but Outlaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Outlaw seems to have got his legs back now.
Fire postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fire with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Fire cracks Outlaw with a solid left hand.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fire accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fire sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Outlaw is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Fire displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Outlaw throws out the jab.

Fire looks up at the clock and then as Outlaw takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Fire smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fire tries to move to mount but Outlaw blocks the move with his legs.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fire lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Outlaw! More strikes land and this one is all over! Fire jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Spinning Fire!
Spinning Fire looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'It was easy so now I want the CFC belt. Disney don't deny it from me.'.
