Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Holmes Jr (ranked 512 p4p, 1099 weight class) and Jan Sobieski (ranked 70 p4p, 143 weight class). Holmes Jr's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Red - Damage. Sobieski has chosen Karnivool - Lifelike as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Holmes Jr has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sobieski is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Holmes Jr.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Holmes Jr isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sobieski stacks Holmes Jr on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sobieski!

Sobieski uses his free foot to push down on Holmes Jr's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Holmes Jr.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well Sobieski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
