Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yar Bol (ranked 549 p4p, 1028 weight class) and Panda Four (ranked 81 p4p, 143 weight class). Yar Bol could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Panda Four's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yar Bol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panda Four!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bol keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Four rushes Bol and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Four - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Yar Bol has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Panda Four.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bol creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Four jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bol walks away with a smile on his face. Four gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We've been told by Bol's head coaches at GWad's Playpen that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Four shoots for a takedown but Bol saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Bol counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Four has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bol uses from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bol got a little sloppy there for a moment and Four has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bol has managed to get both his arms back between Four's legs - danger averted.
Bol has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Four has his foot on Bol's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bol works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Four swings around for an armbar but Bol sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Four's guard.

Four working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bol doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bol manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bol seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Four drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Four as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bol screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Four! Nice submission victory there!
