Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between The Royal Savage (ranked 2652 p4p, 3384 weight class) and Elay Arson (ranked 320 p4p, 397 weight class). Arson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by ALIEN WEAPONRY - Kai Tangata. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Royal Savage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elay Arson!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arson lands the left hand.
The Royal Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage cracks Arson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Arson cracks Savage with an open hand slap.
Savage ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A cross from Arson lands.
Good exchange - Savage coming out on top.
We've been told by Savage's head coaches at Blood and Iron Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Savage misses with a looping right.
A jab from Arson misses.
Arson slips under a jab from Savage.
Arson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Arson! But no joy.
Arson lands a really nice looking cross but Savage seems unphased.

Savage drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Savage looks to score with a jab to the body but Arson is just out of range.
Arson slips a jab and a cross from Savage.

Savage waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Arson.
Arson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Arson moves out of range of the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Arson takes one on the button.
Savage lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Arson circles away quickly and effectively.
Savage throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Arson scores with a nice head shot.
Arson cracks Savage with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Arson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Savage counters with a nice right hand that sends Arson toppling to the canvas! Arson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Savage finish him?!
Arson is rocked!
It looks like Elay Arson has been cut.
Arson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Savage had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Savage lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Arson up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Savage from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Arson's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). The Royal Savage!
