The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schruuuuuuuut dives in and grabs Henriksen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Henriksen pushes down on Schruuuuuuuut's head and hops out.
Henriksen shoots in for a takedown but Schruuuuuuuut shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Henriksen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Schruuuuuuuut quickly recovers to half guard.
Schruuuuuuuut has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Henriksen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Schruuuuuuuut is looking for a sweep. Henriksen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Schruuuuuuuut has hold of Henriksen's hands but Henriksen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Schruuuuuuuut tries to roll over but Henriksen keeps him under control.
Henriksen seems to be looking for submissions.
Henriksen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Henriksen passes to side control.
Henriksen is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Schruuuuuuuut looks calm but he's in trouble here. Henriksen gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Schruuuuuuuut is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Henriksen lets go of the hold and Schruuuuuuuut can pop his arm back in it's socket.
