Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nassir Bey (ranked 5281 p4p, 4409 weight class) and Aleksander Ragnarsson (ranked 532 p4p, 488 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ragnarsson's choice of entrance music: If I had a Heart. Aleksander Ragnarsson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bey.
Ragnarsson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ragnarsson wants it to stay on the feet.
Bey scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ragnarsson pushes Bey away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bey gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Bey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bey has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ragnarsson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bey yanks on the arm and Ragnarsson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bey.
