The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fjordlinginsson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Xxx defends well and Fjordlinginsson ends up having to push Xxx into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Fjordlinginsson shoots in looking for a takedown but Xxx manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fjordlinginsson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fjordlinginsson.
As Fjordlinginsson backs away, Xxx returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjorg Fjordlinginsson.
Fjordlinginsson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Xxx as he avoids it easily.
And Xxx counters with a quick kick to the body but Fjordlinginsson blocks it.
Xxx slaps away a takedown attempt from Fjordlinginsson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
No luck for Fjordlinginsson with that takedown attempt.

Fjordlinginsson feints and as Xxx raises his hands in defense, Fjordlinginsson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Xxx pushes Fjordlinginsson off and scrambles back to his feet.

Fjordlinginsson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Fjordlinginsson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Xxx has escaped the position, nice work there.

Fjordlinginsson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Xxx is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Xxx is trying to control Fjordlinginsson's posture but Fjordlinginsson avoids it.

Fjordlinginsson has an Americana. Xxx didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Fjordlinginsson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Fjordlinginsson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
