Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 5798 p4p, 5597 weight class) and Brady McMullen (ranked 573 p4p, 559 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by MMA Entrance Music / Jon . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brady McMullen!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMullen lands with a hook. Jones tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McMullen defends it nicely.
McMullen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.
McMullen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McMullen doesn't seem bothered though.
McMullen misses the body punch
enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab.
McMullen throws a one two combo.
McMullen looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range.
Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jones throws a big shot that misses.
Jones lands a really nice looking cross but McMullen seems unphased.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McMullen slips under a jab.
Jones swings for the body but McMullen moves out of range.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but McMullen is just out of range.
McMullen unleashes a big counter combination but Jones bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Nice defenses there by McMullen.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McMullen.
It looked like Jones was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from McMullen.
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones throws a hook but McMullen blocks it.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McMullen but McMullen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McMullen lands with a nice body punch.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but McMullen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.

Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Jones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McMullen to score with a decent uppercut.
Jones is rocked!
Brady McMullen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McMullen finds Jones's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Jones flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. McMullen lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Jones will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brady McMullen!
Our winner, Brady McMullen, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
