Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons darts in looking for a takedown but Battle gets double underhooks and turns Simmons into the cage.

Simmons is breathing heavily.

Battle lands a hook that snaps the head of Simmons backwards.

Battle will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Simmons up against the cage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Boston Battle.
Battle lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Battle feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Simmons sprawling to the canvas! Simmons rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Battle finish him?!
Simmons is rocked!
Simmons takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Oh Simmons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Battle throws a pinpoint strike between Simmons's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Simmons crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Battle scores a great knockout victory!
