The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tshabalala's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tshabalala duly obliges.

It looks like Im Da Ba Dee has been cut.
Tshabalala looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Tshabalala looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Tshabalala fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Da Ba Dee sprawls well initially but Tshabalala persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Tshabalala is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Da Ba Dee is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Da Ba Dee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
You can see the frustration on Da Ba Dee's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Da Ba Dee moves into the clinch successfully.
Tshabalala putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Da Ba Dee in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Tshabalala is pressed up against the cage. Da Ba Dee has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tshabalala down to the mat. Tshabalala avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Da Ba Dee throws a sloppy head kick and Tshabalala moves out of range easily.
Tshabalala lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Da Ba Dee backs up against the cage.
Tshabalala swats away the attempt to clinch by Da Ba Dee.

Tshabalala is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Da Ba Dee is trying to escape and Tshabalala transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Da Ba Dee is forced to tap! Nice work there by Tshabalala! Very nice indeed!
