Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Humberto Chavez (ranked 23960 p4p, 2087 weight class) and Sinun Blacktoe (ranked 121 p4p, 69 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sinun Blacktoe was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blacktoe gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Chavez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Blacktoe misses with a takedown attempt
and Blacktoe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chavez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Blacktoe on the side of the head.

Blacktoe gets a takedown into half guard.
Chavez moves into full guard.
Blacktoe loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Chavez trying to control the position.
Blacktoe not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Chavez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blacktoe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Blacktoe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Chavez's head.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Blacktoe's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blacktoe postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Blacktoe trying to control but Chavez is working from the bottom.
Blacktoe chips away with some ground and pound.
Blacktoe throws a big elbow that misses.

Chavez has momentary wrist control but Blacktoe slips an elbow through the middle.
Blacktoe passes into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blacktoe connects with a nice short shot to Chavez's temple.
Chavez is looking for a sweep. Blacktoe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Blacktoe drops an elbow to the side of Chavez's head.

It looks like Humberto Chavez has been cut.
Blacktoe looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Chavez is rocked!

Humberto Chavez's cut is getting worse.
Blacktoe keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Oh Chavez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Humberto Chavez's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Blacktoe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chavez keeps working.
Chavez seems to have got his legs back now.
