Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Captain Gonza (ranked 472 p4p, 797 weight class) and New Car (ranked 69 p4p, 127 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Captain Gonza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, New Car!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Darius Henderson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Car fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gonza on the side of the head.
Car missing with a left hand there. Gonza was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Car throws a shot from downtown. Gonza moves away and avoids it.
Good leg kick by Gonza.
Jab by Gonza.
Gonza closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Car looks to score with a jab to the body but Gonza is just out of range.
Car swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Car gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gonza staying out of range there.
As Car looks to move away, Gonza throws a big counter combo but Car just gets out of the way.
Car throws a lazy uppercut
and Gonza counters with an outside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gonza plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Car on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Car drops his hands momentarily and Gonza takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Car takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gonza scores with a decent looking hook.
Car is rocked!
Gonza cracks Car on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Car falls backwards against the cage. Gonza follows up with more strikes that drop Car to his knees. Gonza keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Car! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Captain Gonza!
