The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Plainview shoots for a takedown but Bakugo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bakugo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bakugo slows down the pace here.

Plainview tries to pull guard but Bakugo won't allow it.

Plainview breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Plainview throws a lazy right hand but Bakugo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Plainview avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Plainview is looking to clinch but Bakugo is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
A looping hook to the body misses from Plainview. Bakugo does a little dance to reset his feet.

Bakugo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bakugo lands in his opponent's guard.
Bakugo advances to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Plainview is trying to get back to full guard.
Bakugo controlling the action here.

Katsuki Bakugo showed his dominance in that final round.
