Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avon Barksdale (ranked 5506 p4p, 5434 weight class) and Albert White (ranked 97 p4p, 90 weight class). Avon Barksdale has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Avon Barksdale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Albert White! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. White swings for the body but Barksdale moves out of range.
It looked like Barksdale was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from White. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White throws a predictable looking body shot
and Barksdale counters with a nice body shot. White takes a swing at Barksdale's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. White just misses with a punch to the body.
A little feinted left hand from Barksdale on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Barksdale is looking to clinch but White is avoiding it.
White is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Barksdale with a body shot. White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barksdale manages to avoid it. Barksdale is looking to counter punch. Barksdale tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but White defends well and Barksdale ends up having to push White into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. White doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Barksdale throws a head punch that misses. Barksdale manages to break the clinch.

White is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Barksdale with a body shot. Barksdale fails with an attempt to clinch.
White now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Barksdale takes a swing at White's ribcage but misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! White misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Barksdale.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Albert White. I think White has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
