Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aarron Hamilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Satellite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamilton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Hands Up-Lloyd Banks. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aarron Hamilton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Satellite! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hamilton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Satellite wants to clinch. Hamilton fails to land with a series of punches.
Hamilton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hamilton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hamilton tries to pass to full mount but Satellite defends it. Satellite is trying to get back to full guard. Hamilton postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Satellite to stand up. Satellite tries to clinch but Hamilton moves out of range. Satellite is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Satellite moves in looking to clinch but Hamilton pushes him off. Hamilton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hamilton is breathing heavily. Hamilton throws a series of punches but Satellite moves out of range. Satellite misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Satellite fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hamilton, pushing him back against the cage. Satellite using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Hamilton tries to score a body lock takedown but Satellite shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Satellite lands an elbow that stopped Hamilton in his tracks for a moment. Satellite tries for a takedown but Hamilton manages to get underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round. Satellite has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hamilton clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Satellite lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Hamilton hold on?!
Satellite has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Satellite is landing with strikes from the back. You can see the frustration on Hamilton's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hamilton wants to sweep but no luck. Hamilton manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hamilton has hold of Satellite's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Satellite manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Satellite manages to regain half guard. Good work. Hamilton passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Satellite! Hamilton lands a big elbow. Satellite in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Satellite is rocked! Hamilton punishing his opponent with strikes. Satellite is still in real trouble! Can Hamilton finish him?
It looks like Nick Satellite has been cut. Hamilton is looking to stand but Hamilton has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Satellite seems to have recovered his senses. Hamilton unloading with bombs! Satellite is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamilton lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hamilton lands a big elbow. Hamilton lands a nice shot to the head. Hamilton putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hamilton landing shots from mount. Satellite regains half guard. Hamilton lands strikes from half guard. Hamilton is looking to advance position but Satellite won't allow it. Satellite is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hamilton pulls his head out easily. Hamilton tries to pass to full mount but Satellite defends it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Satellite moves into full guard.
Hamilton chips away with some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aarron Hamilton dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nick Satellite's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hamilton fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hamilton closes the distance and clinches up with Satellite, looking for a takedown. Hamilton pushes Satellite against the cage but Satellite circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hamilton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hamilton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Satellite as he jumps to the side. Hamilton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Satellite is fending him off so far but Hamilton persists. Nope, Satellite circles away and we're back to standing. Hamilton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hamilton fails to land the takedown. Hamilton shoots in for a takedown but Satellite shows good takedown defense. Hamilton shoots in but no luck this time. Hamilton misses with a takedown attempt - Satellite sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hamilton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Satellite as he jumps to the side. Satellite keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hamilton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Satellite as he avoids it easily. Satellite tries to clinch up. Hamilton throws a one two combo.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hamilton shoots in and drives through. Satellite sprawls well. Horrible takedown by Satellite or perhaps it was just good defense by Hamilton which made him look bad. Hamilton lands with a right that hurts Satellite. Satellite looks to clinch but Hamilton throws a short knee that drops Satellite. This one is all over!
