Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Vernon (ranked 1253 p4p, 1290 weight class) and Renato Laranja (ranked 162 p4p, 169 weight class). Laranja has chosen Sepultura - The Hunt as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaac Vernon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Renato Laranja!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vernon stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Laranja.

Laranja fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vernon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Vernon throws a chopping leg kick but Laranja manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
And Laranja responds with a good body kick, but Vernon manages to step out the way in time.

Laranja lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
