Bowser's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tommy Cash - Racked. Leon Bowser has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Islam Nemkov!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nemkov avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nemkov on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bowser lands a right hook to the body.
Bowser throws a one two combo.
Bowser connects with a crisp jab.
Bowser sizes up Nemkov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nemkov is defended easily by Bowser.
Bowser feints a jab promting Nemkov to slip. Bowser then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nemkov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Nemkov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bowser to score with a decent uppercut.
Bowser lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Nemkov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bowser lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bowser.

Nemkov is rocked!
Nemkov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bowser.
Nemkov steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bowser.
Bowser misses with a hook.
Bowser sizes up Nemkov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd cheers as Bowser lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nemkov doesn't seem phased though.
Nemkov is still on wobbly legs! Can Bowser finish him?

Nemkov takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Donk. Bowser catches Nemkov right on the button with a cross.
Bowser keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Nemkov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nemkov slips a jab and a cross from Bowser.
Nemkov tries to counter with a clinch but Bowser shakes him off and moves away.
Bowser lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Nemkov counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Nemkov wants to pass the guard but Bowser is keeping the position.
Nemkov seems to have recovered his senses.

Nemkov prevents Bowser from getting back to his feet.
Nemkov trying to control but Bowser is working from the bottom.

Bowser looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bowser keeping moving, preventing Nemkov from controlling successfully.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Bowser has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nemkov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nemkov wants to control from the top but Bowser keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bowser fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nemkov is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Bowser throws a one two combo.
Nemkov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bowser.

A nice combination there by Bowser.
Bowser really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nemkov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Bowser throws a combination that misses

and Nemkov counters by moving into the clinch.
Bowser misses with a body punch.
Nemkov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bowser pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Nemkov is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bowser is defending well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bowser misses with a combination

and Nemkov counters by clinching up.
Nemkov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bowser is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Nemkov prevents Bowser from breaking the clinch.
Bowser lands a right hand that snaps the head of Nemkov backwards.
Bowser stops a takedown attempt from Nemkov.
Leon Bowser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Islam Nemkov.

Nemkov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bowser lands with an overhand left.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bowser catches Nemkov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Nemkov walks into a left hand.
Bowser connects with a looping right hand.
Nemkov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bowser lands with a hook. Nemkov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nemkov walks into a left hand.
Nemkov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Leon Bowser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bowser cracks a nice hook into Nemkov's ribs.
Bowser lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bowser steps in with a hook that catches Nemkov right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Bowser follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Nemkov looks absolutely devastated.
