Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pancadao Trevoso (ranked 3777 p4p, 2950 weight class) and Napoleon Booker (ranked 458 p4p, 369 weight class). Booker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Animal-Maroon 5 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pancadao Trevoso!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Napoleon Booker!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booker misses with a wild body shot.
Trevoso is trying hard to land a takedown here. Booker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Booker looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Trevoso bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Napoleon Booker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trevoso closes the distance and clinches up with Booker, looking for a takedown. Trevoso pushes Booker against the cage but Booker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Booker throws a hook but Trevoso blocks it.
We've been informed that Booker has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Booker connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Booker tries to bum rush Trevoso with a series of wild strikes but Trevoso uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Trevoso looks to land a body kick but Booker moved away.
Trevoso shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Booker pinned against the cage. Booker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pancadao Trevoso. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trevoso on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Trevoso fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Booker sprawls well initially but Trevoso persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Trevoso thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Trevoso trying to advance position but Booker counters by regaining guard.

Trevoso gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Booker misses the jab.
Trevoso ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Booker throws a big shot that misses.
Booker scores with a one two! Trevoso had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Pancadao Trevoso has been cut.
Booker lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Trevoso ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Trevoso looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Napoleon Booker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Booker moves out of range of the body kick from Trevoso.
Trevoso walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Trevoso gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Trevoso tries to score a body lock takedown but Booker shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Booker manages to break the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Trevoso moves into the clinch successfully.
Trevoso trying to stall but Booker improves his position.
Trevoso fails to pull guard.

Trevoso manages to break the clinch.
Trevoso bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Booker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Booker just misses with a punch to the body.
Booker just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromTrevoso.
The fighters circling - Booker throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Booker misses with a left hand
and Trevoso connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Napoleon Booker dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Pancadao Trevoso's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Booker throws a shot from downtown. Trevoso moves away and avoids it.
Trevoso takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Trevoso will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Booker is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Trevoso with a body shot.
Booker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nice shot lands for Booker.
Trevoso shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Booker defends it nicely.
Booker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trevoso has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Booker finds it's way round the side to connect with Trevoso's head.
Trevoso dives in for a single leg takedown but Booker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Booker with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Trevoso tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pancadao Trevoso. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Booker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Booker lands with a cross.
Trevoso dives in and grabs Booker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Booker pushes down on Trevoso's head and hops out.
Trevoso fails with a takedown attempt.
A combination from Booker does no damage.
A lazy left from Booker finds it's target.
Booker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Trevoso shoots for a double leg takedown but Booker sprawls well. He's pushed Trevoso's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Booker drops Trevoso with a beautiful combination! Trevoso stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Booker is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Booker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Booker wants it to stay on the feet.

Booker feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Trevoso sprawling to the canvas! Trevoso rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Booker finish him?!

Trevoso is rocked!
Booker throws a hook but Trevoso avoids it easily.
Booker pounces like a tiger and cracks Trevoso with a vicious hook! Trevoso is down but not out! Booker follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Napoleon Booker!
Napoleon Booker tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
