Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ecce Homo (ranked 2224 p4p, 3166 weight class) and Apophis Kalmisto (ranked 225 p4p, 297 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kalmisto's choice of entrance music: Tässäkö tää oli. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Apophis Kalmisto!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalmisto looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Homo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kalmisto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Homo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Homo moves to clinch but Kalmisto breaks away
and Kalmisto counters with a two punch combo.

Homo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kalmisto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kalmisto appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Homo wants to clinch up but Kalmisto keeps it at a distance.

Kalmisto tries to circle away but Homo has him pinned against the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Homo needs to keep his hands up - Kalmisto had a free shot at his head there.

Homo moves out of range as Kalmisto throws a body kick.
Homo throws a big counter combination but Kalmisto scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Kalmisto throws a head kick that misses.
Kalmisto catches Homo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Oh Homo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kalmisto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Homo walks straight into a right hand from Kalmisto - that's dropped him! Kalmisto jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Homo from any more punishment! Homo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Apophis Kalmisto!
A relieved looking Apophis Kalmisto thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
