And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaloev feints and as Wilva raises his hands in defense, Kaloev changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kaloev looking to pass the guard.
Kaloev passes Wilva's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Kaloev is trying to control the action in half guard but Wilva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kaloev looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Kaloev wants to control but Wilva is keeping him busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wilva can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kaloev frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kaloev jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Wilva manages to avoid the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilva is looking for a sweep.

Kaloev is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wilva is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kaloev has hold of Wilva's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Wilva seems comfortable defending it but Kaloev has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Wilva is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Wilva is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kaloev couldn't care less - he's delighted!
