Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fits Miz (ranked 2806 p4p, 2989 weight class) and Jeremy Scott (ranked 362 p4p, 382 weight class). Miz comes to the cage accompanied by Somebody That I Used To Know (80s remix). Scott has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Jeremy Scott is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Fits Miz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Scott!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott shoots in looking for a takedown. Miz tries to sprawl out of it but Scott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Miz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jeremy Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miz catches Scott with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Scott stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Miz.
Scott tries for a takedown but Miz circles away easily
and Miz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Scott looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Scott closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miz circles away.
Miz throwing a counter right hand but Scott manages to avoid it.
Fits Miz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Scott.
Miz stuffs the takedown.
Miz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Miz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Scott's head backwards.
Scott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Miz as he avoids it easily.
Miz scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Miz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Miz's corner calls for a 1-2. Miz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Miz works Scott's body with a nice hook.
Scott doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Scott tries to move into range but Miz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Scott doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Miz counters with a nice leg kick.
Miz scores with a jab to the body.
Miz lands a nice shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Miz dips to his left and cracks Scott with an uppercut!
Scott is rocked!
Miz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Scott looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Scott is still on wobbly legs! Can Miz finish him?
Miz walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Scott drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Miz swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Scott's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fits Miz!
Fits Miz made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Jeremy, I challenge you to a fight on that fight night card. Don't be a pussy, take the short notice fight and lets do it.'.
The defeated Jeremy Scott had this to say: 'Losses suck, I came back too early I want to run this one back because we each have a win over the other. After I beat Fitz I want the rubber match against the champ'.
