The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamir comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kamir lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gutierrez backs up against the cage.

It looks like Dontae Gutierrez has been cut.
Good exchange - Kamir coming out on top.
Kamir thuds a left hand into Gutierrez's body.
Kamir scores with a decent looking hook.
Gutierrez takes one to the chin there.
Kamir scores with a jab. Gutierrez acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kamir lands a leg kick that knocks Gutierrez off balance momentarily.
Kamir fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gutierrez looks to throw a body kick
and Kamir counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kamir lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kamir.
Kamir has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Chakuriki LA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Kamir cracks Gutierrez with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gutierrez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Kamir connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kamir scores with a jab to the head.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kamir enables Gutierrez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kamir manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gutierrez looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Kamir tries to get to full guard but Gutierrez has control of the leg.

Gutierrez is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kamir is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
