And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mitar Mrkela!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mrkela shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mikhail's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mrkela passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Mrkela is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mikhail is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mrkela throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Mrkela wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mikhail keeps working.
Mikhail knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mrkela on the ground.
Mrkela in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Mikhail is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
