Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Shortman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Boomer!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boomer lands with a cross.

It looks like James Shortman has been cut.

Boomer throws a nice inside leg kick.
Shortman has his takedown stuffed
and Boomer counters with a left to the body.
Shortman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Boomer counter with a right hand.
Shortman walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Shortman drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Boomer connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boomer slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Shortman is rocked!
Boomer pounces like a tiger and cracks Shortman with a vicious hook! Shortman is down but not out! Boomer follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
