Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antoine Milfort (ranked 4365 p4p, 4609 weight class) and Olav Tryggvason (ranked 531 p4p, 544 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Milfort might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Whiskey Myers - Bar, Guitar and a Honky Tonk Crowd.. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Milfort.
Tryggvason fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Milfort, pushing him back against the cage.
The referee calls for Milfort to work.
Milfort is trying to break the clinch but Tryggvason has him pressed against the cage.
Tryggvason is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Milfort pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Milfort tries to break free but Tryggvason pushes him back against the cage.
Tryggvason gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Antoine Milfort has been cut.
Tryggvason has Milfort pressed against the cage, preventing Milfort from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A frustrated look appears on Milfort's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tryggvason jumps into guard, dragging Milfort to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tryggvason drops down looking for an ankle pick but Milfort pulls his leg out and moves away.

Tryggvason is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Milfort gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Milfort goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Tryggvason breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tryggvason tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Milfort swivels and escapes.
It looked like Milfort wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Tryggvason counters with a two punch combo.
Tryggvason misses with a takedown attempt - Milfort sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Milfort ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tryggvason moves away.
Tryggvason thinks about the counter body kick.
Milfort finds Tryggvason's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Tryggvason flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Milfort lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Tryggvason will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Antoine Milfort!
