And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abraham Aguilar!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Elskamp closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Elskamp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Aguilar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Elskamp lands a body shot.
Elskamp connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've been told by Elskamp's head coaches at Aloha MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Elskamp moves into the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Elskamp.
Elskamp stalling the fight.
Aguilar trying to control the position but instead, Elskamp has worked for underhooks and has pushed Aguilar into the cage.
Elskamp lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Elskamp escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Elskamp lands with a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aguilar takes one on the button.

It looks like Abraham Aguilar has been cut.
Aguilar looks winded!
Aguilar tries for a takedown but Elskamp circles away easily
enabling Elskamp to counter with a crisp jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aguilar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Elskamp feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Aguilar sprawling to the canvas! Aguilar rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Elskamp finish him?!
Elskamp drops Aguilar with a big left hand! Aguilar is injured, injured bad! Elskamp jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Dirk Elskamp is the new middleweight champion!
Dirk Elskamp decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
