Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robert Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tom Cullen!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee rushes Cullen and presses him up against the cage.

Cullen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Lee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cullen sprawls well. Cullen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.

Cullen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cullen can do to turn this around?
Cullen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Robert Lee has been cut.
Cullen fails to land with a series of punches.

Cullen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lee to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lee loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Cullen wants to stand and escape but Lee is having none of it.
Lee postures up.

Lee works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Cullen is trying to control but can't.
Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Still in half guard, Lee seems content to control.
Cullen trying to control but Lee postures up.
Cullen pushes Lee off looking to stand but Lee dives back in and keeps control.
Lee missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Lee throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Cullen tries to get to full guard but Lee has control of the leg.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Cullen tries to kick Lee off in order to stand up. Lee Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cullen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cullen, who protects the arm well.
Cullen can't do much from the bottom here.

Lee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Cullen is trying to control Lee's posture but Lee avoids it.
Cullen tries to buck Lee off but Lee is having none of it.
Lee is staying tight to Cullen's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Lee trying to control the position but Cullen is working away.

Lee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Cullen is looking for a sweep.

Robert Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lee cracks Cullen with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Cullen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lee's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Lee! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Cullen has tapped! This one is allllll over!
