Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudolph Rapinsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rapinsky is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Leningrad - Mamba Huyamba. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rudolph Rapinsky! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rapinsky gets a takedown into half guard. Jackson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jackson is trying to maintain the position but Rapinsky is very close to passing his half guard. Rapinsky tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jackson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rapinsky is taking a breather. Jackson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Rapinsky is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rapinsky looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rapinsky looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Jackson is staying active underneath Rapinsky, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Jackson tries to kick Rapinsky off but Rapinsky keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jackson wants to control but Rapinsky is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jackson tries to kick Rapinsky off but Rapinsky keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rapinsky wants to free his trapped foot but Jackson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Rapinsky uses his free foot to push down on Jackson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jackson. Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rapinsky on the ground. Jackson is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Jackson is breathing heavily. Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rapinsky is working for a guillotine from mount but Jackson frees his head quite easily.
Jackson really wants to buck Rapinsky off and get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rapinsky controlling the position easily from mount. Rapinsky can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jackson is looking to escape. Jackson stops Rapinsky from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Jackson is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Rapinsky looking to control but Jackson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rapinsky is trying to take his opponent's back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jackson tries to control Rapinsky's body but Rapinsky pushes him off. Jackson squirms to his side and now Rapinsky has his back! Jackson showing good submission defense here.
Rapinsky working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Well, with Rapinsky on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Jackson is tapping out... Can he escape the position? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson is in bad spot here.

Rudolph Rapinsky dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Jackson looks to land a left hand but Rapinsky moved out of range nicely. Jackson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jackson works the jab nicely. Jackson missing with a left hand there. Rapinsky was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Jackson loads up on a big right hand but Rapinsky slips the punch. Jackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rapinsky. A punch combination from Jackson misses. Rudolph Rapinsky is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jackson misses with the combination.
Marcus Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Excellent takedown into side control there by Rapinsky. Rapinsky tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rapinsky has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jackson is being controlled here. Rapinsky is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jackson has escaped the position, nice work there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rapinsky moves into full mount! Rapinsky working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Rapinsky looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Rapinsky trying to control but Jackson is having none of it. Rapinsky has control of Jackson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jackson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson wants to try and get back to his feet. Jackson is squirming around, avoiding Rapinsky's attempts to control the action. Jackson really wants to buck Rapinsky off and get back to his feet. Rapinsky trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rapinsky goes for an armbar but Jackson turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jackson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rapinsky looking for a sweep. Not yet Rapinsky, not yet. Rapinsky has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though. Rapinsky is looking for a triangle but Jackson pushes his legs off easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rapinsky wants to sweep but no luck. Rapinsky is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jackson wanted to stand there but Rapinsky had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson is fighting to break Rapinsky's control of his arms but Rapinsky is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Jackson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Jackson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson tries to stand but Rapinsky is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rudolph Rapinsky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Jackson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Nice defenses there by Rapinsky. Jackson misses with a two punch combination.

Jackson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Rapinsky slips a straight right by Jackson. Rapinsky shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side. Rapinsky feints and as Jackson raises his hands in defense, Rapinsky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position. Jackson is looking to stand up but Rapinsky isn't so interested in that idea. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Rapinsky from controlling successfully. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rapinsky stops Jackson from standing up. Rapinsky slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rapinsky is controlling him. Jackson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Rapinsky trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Rapinsky is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jackson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jackson throws a lazy right hand but Rapinsky sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A big right from Jackson misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackson tries to bum rush Rapinsky with a series of wild strikes but Rapinsky uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jackson throws a series of strikes that have Rapinsky backpedaling.
The fighters circling - Jackson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jackson looks to land a right hand but Rapinsky moved out of range. Jackson misses with a wild combination.
Rapinsky scores a takedown into full mount! Jackson squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Jackson is controlling an arm, preventing Rapinsky from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Rudolph Rapinsky has got the better of the ground game so far. Jackson tries to buck Rapinsky off but Rapinsky takes his back! Jackson controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Rapinsky working for a choke but Jackson is defending well. Jackson preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Rapinsky. Marcus Jackson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson trying to get back to his feet but Rapinsky is in full control for now. Rapinsky is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jackson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jackson for a finish. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rapinsky has got one arm under Jackson's chin. This could be trouble... Jackson trying to control the other hand but Rapinsky gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Jackson has tapped out! The fight is over!
