Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Jax (ranked 2967 p4p, 3845 weight class) and Hua Wie (ranked 357 p4p, 451 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Randy Jax has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Randy Jax seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Jax!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hua Wie!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ron Honeybunn and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jax uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jax slaps away a takedown attempt from Wie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
It looked like Jax was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wie.
Jax fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wie manages to avoid it.
Jax misses with the combination.
Jax misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wie fails to land the takedown.
Jax misses with a double jab.
Wie should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Jax clobbers Wie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've been told by Jax's head coaches at Deep waters that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jax looks to land a combination but Wie avoids it well.
Jax swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wie appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Wie shoots in looking for a takedown. Jax tries to sprawl out of it but Wie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jax manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Randy Jax has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hua Wie.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jax batters Wie with a massive right followed by a huge left! Wie is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Jax lands a final crushing right hand to drop Wie to the mat with a gruesome thud! Jax is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Randy Jax!
