The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manfield takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A head kick from Holloway lands but Manfield takes it in his stride.
Manfield shoots in for a takedown but Holloway shows good takedown defense.
A nice combination there by Holloway.
Manfield gets a takedown into half guard.
Manfield moves nicely into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Manfield has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Holloway is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Manfield yanks on the arm and Holloway is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Manfield.
