Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Colby Pearce (ranked 4234 p4p, 2973 weight class) and Anton Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Colby Pearce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anton Andersson! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersson lands a nice shot to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andersson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pearce will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Andersson up against the cage. Andersson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pearce takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Pearce's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Pearce stalls. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Colby Pearce. Andersson fails with the takedown and Pearce counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
