Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Spanky Loco (ranked 2075 p4p, 148 weight class) and John C Reilly (ranked 288 p4p, 23 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Loco might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Barrie - My everything . Reilly has chosen John C. Reilly Funniest Moments as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Spanky Loco!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John C Reilly!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, John Mangel and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Loco.
Loco shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reilly lands with a cross.
Reilly connects with a single shot there.
Reilly throws out a loose jab but Loco uses good head movement to avoid it.
Loco fails to land the takedown.
Loco has been working on his balance at 88Fight Club Gym88.. 800pw (16 COACHES), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Reilly.
Reilly keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Let's hope that Reilly has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Reilly fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Loco, pushing him back against the cage.

Loco is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Reilly can't fight it off and eventually Loco manages to take the fight to the floor. Reilly looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Reilly throws a big shot that misses.
It looked like Loco was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Reilly digs a good hook to Loco's body.

Loco's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Reilly connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Loco scrambles back to his feet.

Loco is looking to take this one to the mat.
Reilly is pressed up against the cage. Loco has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Reilly down to the mat. Reilly avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Reilly throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Loco dives in for a single leg takedown but Reilly sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Loco does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Reilly cracks Loco with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Loco falls to his knees and Reilly doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A very excited looking John C Reilly rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
