Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hughes (ranked 5782 p4p, 4987 weight class) and Origen Alexandria (ranked 570 p4p, 525 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hughes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alexandria's waist but Alexandria gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hughes off to one side.

Hughes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Alexandria is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hughes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hughes's back!

Alexandria postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hughes looks a forlorn figure.

Alexandria goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hughes turns into him and now he's in Alexandria's guard.

Alexandria has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hughes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Alexandria has tightened it up now! Hughes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
