Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Jackson (ranked 2359 p4p, 1961 weight class) and Lucius Aurelius (ranked 291 p4p, 247 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aurelius is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Jackson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Aurelius pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Jackson tries to move into range but Aurelius moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Aurelius drops Jackson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jackson looks back up at him and smiles so Aurelius waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Aurelius checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aurelius fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jackson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Aurelius circles away.
Aurelius drops Jackson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Jackson! Aurelius dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
