PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bowser Bigalow (ranked 5064 p4p, 23414 weight class) and Jake Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson has chosen Berzerk by Eminem as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bowser Bigalow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bigalow avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Bigalow jabs Peterson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Peterson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
It looked like Bigalow was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Peterson.
A combination from Peterson does no damage.
Peterson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bigalow clobbers Peterson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Jake Peterson has been cut.
Peterson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Peterson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Bigalow is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Peterson throws a head kick that misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Bigalow counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Peterson has his takedown stuffed
and Bigalow counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bowser Bigalow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Peterson.

Bigalow lands a big uppercut and Peterson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Peterson looks OK. Bigalow waves Peterson back to his feet!

Peterson is rocked!
and Bigalow counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Peterson! He's just covering up as Bigalow starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bowser Bigalow!
