Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Philip Buffon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buffon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Buffon wants to control the pace but Guerra is squirming around nicely.
Guerra tries to lock up and control but Buffon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Buffon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Guerra is in a horrible position here. Buffon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Guerra has Buffon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Buffon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Guerra jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Buffon walks away with a smile on his face. Guerra gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Buffon is pressed up against the cage. Guerra has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Buffon down to the mat. Buffon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Buffon closes the distance and clinches up with Guerra, looking for a takedown. Buffon pushes Guerra against the cage but Guerra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
