Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Durant (ranked 5462 p4p, 3700 weight class) and Alois Vrana (ranked 547 p4p, 440 weight class). Alois Vrana has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Durant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alois Vrana!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vrana throws a fast counter high kick but Durant manages to duck under it in time.
Vrana takes one to the chin there.
Vrana tries to close the distance and clinch up but Durant swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice cross by Durant.
Durant lands an overhand right.
Durant misses with a low kick as Vrana jumps back.
Durant swings for the body but Vrana moves out of range.
Vrana looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Durant is fending him off so far but Vrana persists. Nope, Durant circles away and we're back to standing.
Durant tries to sprawl but Vrana drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Vrana is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Durant has managed to free his arm - good work.
Vrana wants to take a breather but Durant is having none of it.
Durant tries to roll over but Vrana keeps him under control.
Vrana throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Durant to regain full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Durant wants to sweep here but Vrana controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vrana wants to pass the guard but Durant is keeping the position.
Vrana decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Vrana darts in looking for a takedown but Durant gets double underhooks and turns Vrana into the cage.
Durant appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Durant throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Vrana misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vrana misses with a hook.
As Vrana backs away, Durant returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Durant uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vrana.
Vrana shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Durant cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kevin Durant has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alois Vrana.
Vrana pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vrana is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Durant.
Vrana tries to land a front kick but Durant steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Vrana lands a leg kick that knocks Durant off balance momentarily.
Vrana drops his hands momentarily and Durant takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Durant is looking to slow Vrana down with leg kicks.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Durant slaps away a takedown attempt from Vrana, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick misses from Vrana.
Vrana tries to keep at a distance but Durant has taken the fight into the clinch.
Vrana can't break the clinch.
Durant tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Durant tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Vrana's elbow.
Vrana comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Durant lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Durant.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Durant.
Durant lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Vrana backwards.
Durant makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Vrana is rocked!
The referee calls for Durant to work.
Vrana is still on wobbly legs! Can Durant finish him?
Durant pushes Vrana against the cage. Durant is working some dirty boxing. Durant pushes off with a quick right hook! Vrana goes down! Vrana tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Durant moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Durant!
