And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julio Azevedo!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Azevedo.
Sloppy strikes from Martins. Those never looked like landing.
Azevedo throws a nice looking combination but Martins bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Azevedo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As Azevedo tries to get set, Martins tries to push him back and clinch up but Azevedo manages to avoid the attempt.
Azevedo tries to clinch but Martins moves out of range.
Azevedo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Martins counters with a two punch combo.
A combination from Azevedo does no damage.
Martins tries to counter by clinching up but Azevedo breaks away and moves out of range.
Azevedo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Martins fails with a takedown attempt.
Martins avoids the body shot from Azevedo.
Azevedo gets a clinch.
Martins blocks a body shot from Azevedo.

Martins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Azevedo gets tackled into the cage by Martins. Martins maintains the clinch.
Martins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Azevedo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Azevedo misses with a series of wild punches.
Azevedo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Martins. That did some damage!
Julio Azevedo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Martins tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Azevedo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Martins is out of range.
Azevedo misses with a few strikes there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Azevedo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Martins went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
No joy there for Azevedo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Martins is looking for a counter combo.
Martins lands with an uppercut that bounces Azevedo off the cage and back into range.
Azevedo is rocked!
Martins throws an overhand right that has Azevedo reeling! Martins follows up with more punches and Azevedo is out cold! This one is all over!
