Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Lee (ranked 797 p4p, 1384 weight class) and Benjamin Sisko (ranked 115 p4p, 188 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjamin Sisko!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sisko ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lee doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A telegraphed right hand from Sisko misses the target.
Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Lee changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Lee thuds a left hand into Sisko's body.

and Sisko counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sisko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sisko won't allow Lee to sweep him here.
Sisko slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lee on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sisko tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Lee misses the shot to the body.
Sisko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lee thinks about countering with a head kick.
Sisko digs a good hook to Lee's body.
Lee lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Sisko cracks Lee with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sisko has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Lee dips to his left and cracks Sisko with an uppercut!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And Sisko tries to counter it with a takedown but Lee pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Sisko swings around for an armbar but Lee sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sisko's guard.

Sisko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Benjamin Sisko dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lee misses with a body punch

so Sisko counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sisko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sisko wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sisko throwing strikes from guard but Lee blocks nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Sisko throws a jab but it's blocked by Lee.
It looked like Lee was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sisko.
Sisko punishes Lee's body with a nice straight punch.
The fighters circling - Lee throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sisko drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lee defends it well.
Sisko scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Nice straight punches there by Lee. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lee.

Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sisko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lee takes a swing at Sisko's ribcage but misses.
Sisko feints the counter takedown.
Lee takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lee throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sisko stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Lee ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Lee counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Lee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Sisko fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Sisko goes for a double leg but Lee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lee continues to drive forward.

Nice defenses there by Lee.

Sisko closes the distance and clinches.
Lee landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Sisko lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sisko is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lee is controlling the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sisko changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sisko walks into a stiff left hand from Lee.

Jimmy Lee showed his dominance in that final round.
