Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Probert (ranked 834 p4p, 1097 weight class) and Matija Maestro (ranked 125 p4p, 159 weight class). Maestro comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shortwire - Reconfig kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Bob Probert has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bob Probert seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Probert!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matija Maestro!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Probert displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maestro throws out the jab.
Probert misses with a right hand
and Maestro counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Probert drops his hands momentarily and Maestro takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Probert throws a shot from downtown. Maestro moves away and avoids it.
Probert throws a hook but Maestro blocks it.
Probert misses with a shot to the body
and Maestro counters with a straight right hand.
Maestro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Probert was covering up waiting for the punch and Maestro finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Probert wants to get back to his feet but Maestro passes into half guard.
Maestro is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Probert sees it coming and defends easily.
Probert is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Maestro is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Probert regains full guard. Nicely done.
Probert is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Probert keeping moving, preventing Maestro from controlling successfully.
Maestro passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Probert trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Maestro manages to pass to mount!

Maestro controlling the pace for now.
Maestro is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Probert to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Probert shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maestro fails to take his opponent's back.
Maestro looking to control and managing it successfully.
Maestro tries to control but Probert wriggling away.
Maestro controlling the pace for now.

Maestro avoids the attempt from Probert to control.
Probert is trying to escape the mount.
Probert tries to control Maestro's body but Maestro pushes him off. Probert squirms to his side and now Maestro has his back!
Maestro is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Probert won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Maestro off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Matija Maestro!
