Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Kane (ranked 2060 p4p, 1266 weight class) and Abdul Keji (ranked 50 p4p, 43 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Kane!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abdul Keji!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane misses with a low kick as Keji jumps back.
Kane misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Keji.
Kane loads up on a big right hand but Keji slips the punch.
Keji is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Keji ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kane moves away.
Keji rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Kane to counter with a crisp jab.
Harry Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Keji lands with an uppercut that bounces Kane off the cage and back into range.
Kane takes a swing at Keji's ribcage but misses.
Kane has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kane looks to score with a jab to the body but Keji is just out of range.
Keji throws a counter combo.

Kane closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kane is working Keji over against the cage.

Keji manages to break the clinch.
Kane defending well as Keji loads up on a big left hand.
Sloppy strikes from Kane. Those never looked like landing.
Kane fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Kane takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nice jab there from Kane.
A jab from Kane misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Keji! But no joy.
Kane takes a swing at Keji's ribcage but misses.
Kane ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kane throws a looping overhand right but Keji ducks down to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Keji misses the target.
Kane throws a lazy right hand but Keji sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Keji takes a swing at Kane's ribcage but misses.
Keji has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kane.
That kick from Kane tenderised Keji's leg. Keji is trying to keep his angry face on.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kane connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kane dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Keji. That did some damage!
Kane just misses with a punch to the body.
Keji throws a right hand that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kane throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Keji cracks Kane with an open hand slap.
Keji's coach down at BLK Elite MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Keji's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Keji avoids the body shot from Kane.
Keji keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kane.
Kane lands a leg kick that knocks Keji off balance momentarily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kane.
Keji misses with a hook
and Kane counters with a straight right hand.
Kane on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Keji throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kane counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Keji takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kane just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice defenses there by Keji.
Kane misses with an uppercut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kane.
Keji avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Keji throws out a counter right but Kane avoids it with no problem.

Keji lands a big uppercut and Kane crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kane looks OK. Keji waves Kane back to his feet!

It looks like Harry Kane has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Keji loads up on a big right hand but Kane slips the punch.
Keji's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Kane tries to clinch up
and Keji counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Abdul Keji!
During a confident post fight interview, Abdul Keji thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
