And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ispa Mfer!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
OMalley staying out of range there.
OMalley half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Mfer misses with a body shot.
OMalley appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Mfer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

OMalley takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ispa Mfer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mfer connects with a good right hand that stumbles OMalley. OMalley circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Michael OMalley has been cut.

Mfer throws a hook to the side of OMalley's head but OMalley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

OMalley has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Mfer throws a head kick but OMalley moves out of range.
OMalley tries to counter with a takedown but Mfer is quick to defend against it.

OMalley slips a straight right by Mfer.
OMalley attempts a counter takedown but Mfer avoids it well and moves away.
OMalley defending well as Mfer loads up on a big left hand.
OMalley changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Mfer throws a shot from downtown. OMalley moves away and avoids it.
The fighters circling - Mfer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mfer slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mfer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
OMalley tries to counter with a takedown but Mfer is quick to defend against it.

OMalley moves away from the strike by Mfer.
OMalley attempts a counter takedown but Mfer avoids it well and moves away.
Mfer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent OMalley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Mfer.
OMalley tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Good shot there by Mfer.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mfer looks to land a combination but OMalley avoids it well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ispa Mfer dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A jab from Mfer finds it's way through OMalley's defenses.
Mfer jabs OMalley to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mfer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mfer scores with the left hand. OMalley knows he should have avoided that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mfer scores with a kick to the midsection.
The fighters circle, before Mfer throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into OMalley's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mfer lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Ispa Mfer!
Ispa Mfer is the new featherweight champion!
