Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Douillet!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douillet has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hargrove fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Douillet drags the fight down to the ground.
Hargrove is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Douillet is on top in guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Douillet working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Hargrove tries to score a power double leg takedown but Douillet sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hargrove somewhat.
Hargrove throws a hook but Douillet avoids it easily.

Douillet is pushing down on Hargrove's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hargrove is fighting to maintain full guard but Douillet has managed to sneak the leg through.

Hargrove managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Douillet.

Douillet is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Douillet wants to stand but Hargrove has his arm trapped.
Douillet tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Douillet has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Douillet has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hargrove!
