Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fortune Thibodeaux (ranked 3908 p4p, 4912 weight class) and Jaxson Canellakis (ranked 464 p4p, 533 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fortune Thibodeaux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jaxson Canellakis! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thibodeaux scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Canellakis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Thibodeaux scores with a punch to the head. Canellakis misses with a right hand and Thibodeaux counters with a flying knee. Nice. Canellakis takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Thibodeaux uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Canellakis. Thibodeaux turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Canellakis throws a hook but Thibodeaux avoids it easily. Canellakis takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Canellakis misses with an uppercut
enabling Thibodeaux to counter with a crisp jab. Canellakis throws an off balance right hand
and Thibodeaux counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Canellakis thinking. This has been an exciting period of action! Thibodeaux throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Canellakis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Thibodeaux lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Canellakis steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Thibodeaux. That one must have hurt. Thibodeaux scores with a jab to the body. Canellakis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thibodeaux.
A counter left hand to the body from Thibodeaux misses its target. Canellakis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Thibodeaux counters with a good, hard body kick but Canellakis shrugs it off. Canellakis looks winded! Thibodeaux scores with a nice strike. Thibodeaux throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Canellakis. Thibodeaux closes the distance and pushes Canellakis back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Canellakis fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Thibodeaux lands an elbow that stopped Canellakis in his tracks for a moment. Thibodeaux lands an elbow inside. Canellakis throws a head punch that misses. Canellakis looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Thibodeaux working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Thibodeaux creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Canellakis's defenses. Canellakis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Canellakis is trying to push Thibodeaux away but Thibodeaux has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Thibodeaux softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Thibodeaux lands a nice uppercut. Canellakis is trying to break the clinch but Thibodeaux has him pressed against the cage. Canellakis has a couple of punches blocked by Thibodeaux.
Thibodeaux lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Jaxson Canellakis has been cut. Canellakis can't find room to land a body shot as Thibodeaux controls the action.
Canellakis wants to break the clinch but can't.
Thibodeaux blocks a body shot from Canellakis. Canellakis has Thibodeaux pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Thibodeaux manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. A short right hand to the side of the head by Thibodeaux. This has been an exciting period of action! Thibodeaux lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thibodeaux lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Canellakis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Canellakis throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Thibodeaux counters with a head kick that drops Canellakis to the mat! Canellakis scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Canellakis is rocked! Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Thibodeaux! This one is all over!
