Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobby Bomstaerk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 57 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Labosky does no damage.
Labosky throws a series of strikes that have Bomstaerk backpedaling.

Bomstaerk shoots in and gets a takedown into Labosky's guard.
Bomstaerk trying to control the position from guard on top but Labosky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bomstaerk lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Bomstaerk looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bomstaerk accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Labosky keeping moving, preventing Bomstaerk from controlling successfully.
Labosky controls Bomstaerk momentarily but Bomstaerk frees himself.
Labosky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Labosky can't keep his opponent in guard - Bomstaerk advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bomstaerk is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Labosky wants to get back to full guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bomstaerk lands a nice short elbow.
Bomstaerk really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bomstaerk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Labosky is looking to improve his position but Bomstaerk isn't that keen on the idea.
Bomstaerk trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Labosky tries to hold on but Bomstaerk pushes him away.
Bomstaerk fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bomstaerk looking to finish Labosky with some ground and pound. This is bad for Labosky!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bomstaerk is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Labosky can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Labosky is still in real trouble! Can Bomstaerk finish him?

Bomstaerk unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Labosky wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Bomstaerk celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
