The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takanori avoids a punch combination nicely.
von Altenburg cracks Takanori with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Takanori wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Takanori misses with a double jab
and von Altenburg counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Takanori tries to roll over but von Altenburg keeps him under control.

Takanori is refusing to be controlled, as von Altenburg sits in half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
von Altenburg is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Takanori.

and von Altenburg counters with a shoot takedown. Takanori fights it but they end up in guard.

Takanori has left one of his arms exposed and von Altenburg doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Takanori screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
