Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akharraz connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Akharraz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Spice lands a nice hook to Akharraz's body. Akharraz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Akharraz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Akharraz doesn't manage to clinch there - Spice circles away.
Osama Akharraz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Akharraz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Spice is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Akharraz with a body shot.
Spice throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Spice tries to score with a low kick but Akharraz moves his leg out of the way.
We've been told by Akharraz's head coaches at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Spice has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Akharraz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Spice paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Spice follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

A nice side step and Spice releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Spice tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Akharraz was well out of range. Poor timing from Spice.
Spice scores with a nice right hand.
Spice connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Akharraz covering up! Spice comes in with a big uppercut and Akharraz goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
