Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trevor McCallen (ranked 4268 p4p, 4251 weight class) and David Friedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trevor McCallen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Friedman! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Friedman shoots for a takedown but McCallen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Friedman darts in looking for a takedown but McCallen gets double underhooks and turns Friedman into the cage. McCallen connects with a body shot. Friedman shoots for a double leg takedown but McCallen sprawls well. He's pushed Friedman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Trevor McCallen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Friedman. Friedman checks the leg kick nicely there.
McCallen is looking to clinch but Friedman is avoiding it.
Friedman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McCallen was covering up waiting for the punch and Friedman finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Friedman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McCallen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Friedman looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Friedman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCallen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Friedman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Friedman wants to pass the guard but McCallen is keeping the position. Friedman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Friedman forces his way into half guard. Friedman stalling. Friedman is looking to advance position but McCallen won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Friedman has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Friedman works his way to his opponent's back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Friedman really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for McCallen. Friedman is working for a rear naked choke. McCallen is not defending it well and Friedman has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! McCallen refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of McCallen's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
