The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pereira fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Michielsen to the ground. Pereira is now in Michielsen's guard.
Pereira pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Michielsen is keeping the position for now.

Pereira drops back looking for a leg! Michielsen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Michielsen manages to kick Pereira off! Pereira jumps back into Michielsen's guard.

Pereira drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Pereira seems to have locked his on tight now - Michielsen screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Pereira, as he picks up the win!
